Who we are
Deep Waters is an independent record label specializing in deep, chill, and melodic house music, based in Denver, Colorado. Founded by Chris Waters, a playlist curator, DJ, and singer-songwriter, the label was born out of Chris's deep love for the genre, inspired by artists like Ben Böhmer.
Chris curates the popular "Deep Waters" playlist on Spotify and produces the "Deep Waters" DJ Mix series on SoundCloud.
At Deep Waters, we're looking for tracks that embody emotional, chill, and melodic house vibes, with a preference for vocal elements. Some of our favorite artists in this space include Ben Böhmer, Lane 8, Le Youth, and Sultan + Shepard.
As an artist, Chris understands the challenges of the music industry. His goal is to be transparent, honest, and fair with every artist he works with. For us, it's all about the music—never about the money or ego. We're excited to collaborate with talented producers who are not only skilled but also great humans from around the globe.
Submissions Policy
We are looking for high quality emotional, deep, chill, melodic house tracks, preferably with beautiful vocals. No rough demos will be accepted. Please only submit tracks that are fully mixed and mastered. Unfinished or rough demos will not be accepted. Looking forward to hearing your submissions! :)
